Duo pushing for starting places for Fleetwood

Devante Cole and Cian Bolger will be pushing for starting places after returning as substitutes in the 3-2 win over Gillingham as Fleetwood bid to snatch an automatic promotion place from Bolton.

Cole (groin) and Bolger (knee) could start against Port Vale as Fleetwood bid to overhaul a two point deficit to Bolton.

Jimmy Ryan has been out since November with a foot injury and comes into contention after failing to make the squad last time out.

Should Fleetwood finish in third they will have the consolation of a play-off spot to fall back on.

Vale have forward Rigino Cicilia available again after suspension as they look to pull off a great relegation escape.

Cicilia was banned for the midweek win over Walsall, when the Valiants kept alive their survival hopes with a dramatic late victory.

Manager Michael Brown could stick with Leo Fasan for the must-win clash after the on-loan Celtic keeper replaced Deniz Mehmet and kept a clean sheet on Wednesday.

Defender Andre Bikey could come back into contention to start as he and Remie Streete have been rotated in recent games because of fitness concerns.
