Misfiring Fleetwood won't panic

Fleetwood go into Saturday's clash with Bristol City having failed to score in any of their last three games, but manager Graham Alexander is refusing to press any panic buttons.

Two 1-0 defeats at Oldham and Crawley were followed by a goalless draw versus Barnsley on home turf, with Stephen Dobbie and Jamie Proctor starting up front on each occasion.

The former has now netted just once in six matches this term and the latter is on a barren run of half a dozen games.

However, they appear to be safe from being dropped as Alexander said: "You have to keep the faith - we've got good players, they're going to score goals. We just have to keep on going."

Bristol City once again have no injury worries and a fully-fit squad when they make the trip.

Steve Cotterill has managed to maintain a settled side as his Robins have flown to the top of the League One table and he could name the line-up that saw off Port Vale on Tuesday night as they look to make it nine unbeaten.

But having already made one away trip this week Cotterill will monitor his squad for signs of fatigue with the likes of Greg Cunningham and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas waiting in the wings for their chance.

City's start to the campaign is their best since three points for a win was introduced in 1981-82.
