Bas Dost-The 25 year old Dutchman has been in clinical form for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga so far this season. He has bagged 16 goals in 23 games in all competitions for the German side. He scored 38 goals in 39 games in the 2011-12 season for Heerenveen in the Eredivisie and has an overall record of just under 1 goal every 2 games. He has not yet gained a cap for the Dutch National side yet but surely will in the future.

Jonathan Soriano- Spaniard Soriano has been playing for Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian league for the past 4 seasons and has certainly impressed there scoring a total of 117 goals in only 134 games for the Austrian side. Before this he had spent his career in Spain playing for a handful of Spanish clubs and most notably had a spell at Barcelona B where he impressed in the goal scoring department. Although the 29 year old has been playing in the Austrian league and this may not be the best of leagues he has proven himself in Europe too by scoring numerous goals in the Europa League.

Alexander Meier- The unconventional striker has been in unbelievable goal scoring form topping the Bundesliga goal scoring chart this season scoring 20 goals in 26 games for 8th place Eintracht Frankfurt. The 6ft 5in German has only really become a striker in the past few seasons but his record when he has been up front has been second to none. He is now though 32 years old and this may put any potential suitors off buying the German.

Shkelzen Gashi- The Swiss born Albanian international has really made his mark for Basel in the Swiss Super League this season since moving from Grasshoppers for around 3 Million Euros. He is a versatile attacking midfielder who can play in the on the right, left and the centre. He has scored a remarkable 20 goals this season as a midfielder for Basel and has also impressed in the Champions League where his team made it through to the round of 16. At only 26 and being versatile he would be a good coup but would Basel be prepared to let him go for a reasonable price after only 1 season at the club.

Yacine Brahimi- Another versatile creative attacking midfielder who has been impressing for Porto this season. The Algerian has been impressive in scoring 11 goals in 27 this season, he especially has impressed in Europe where he has 5 of these goals and has played a major role in Porto progressing to the Quarter Finals. The 25 year old only from Granada in La Liga in the summer but if a big club came calling would he move?
