Ferrari Enzo the only car big enough for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

For some football players a Porsche 911 Turbo, Bentley Continental or even Ferrari 458 is enough to satisfy their rich tastes in supercars but for others that simply will no do. For them, and there are only a handful, the ‘average’ supercar simply isn’t fast enough or exclusive enough, for them a couple of hundred thousand spent on a car cannot be enough.

Enter Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his taste in the rare and the Ferrari brand. Only 400 of the Ferrari Enzo supercars are around in the world and Zlatan has one of them. Whilst it may be true that they are not the latest model, there is no denying their brilliance as one of the pinnacles of modern motor vehicle engineering and design.

A cool £750,000 should be enough to get your hands on an ultra exotic Enzo which were first built in 2003 and provide one of the closest experiences possible of a Formula One car in a street legal package. The Enzo went on to inspire another rare Ferrari Supercar the ‘LaFerrari’. Whilst the 32-year-old Swedish PSG striker does own an Enzo he also owns a Volvo but perhaps that’s simply contractual?

So what is so special about the Ferrari Enzo that Zlatan wanted one?

For one the car bears the owners name and was commissioned to celebrate Ferrari’s first title of the new millennium and was designed by the Japanese former Pininfarina head designer with a limited production run in mind.

The car is a V12 mid-engined berlinetta capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in just 3.14 seconds and has a top speed that has been recorded at 221mph. The car featured F1 technology that was new at the time such as the fully carbon-fibre body, electrohydraulic transmission and ceramic composite disc brakes. The Ferarri F430 which was itself succeeded by the 458 was the second Ferrari to get a version of the Enzo engine. The car like all Ferrari’s is a car you simply want to own and drive. It’s a vehicle that is born in the emotion and then has lots of impressive looking numbers listed below it.

If you fancy having a drive of any supercar you don’t need to be a mega-rich footballer. Why not give a Track Day provider a call and go on a Driving Experience? Better still bring your friends and share the experience.
