Falcao Out : No Permanent Deal In The Summer For The Colombian

Radamel Falcao came to the Premier League with a healthy reputation for lethal finishing and defence splitting pace. Most Manchester United and football fans in general were ready to accept a new superstar into our league with some bookmakers proclaiming him as favourite for the Golden Boot. Sadly he has managed to disappoint us all with poor performances and an uninspiring attitude almost as if he could not care less how well he plays.

It has emerged that Manchester United have reacted quite emphatically to Falcao's lean spell with reports that the decision to not take the former Atletico Madrid man on a permanent deal has already been made. Usually reliable French newspaper L'Equipe has reported that Manchester United will not take up the option of turning the season long loan deal for Falcao into a permanent one for a reported £45m at the end of the season. It is also worth noting that Manchester United have already paid £6m to have the Colombian for this season.

With speculation rife regarding his future, the once mercurial striker will want to prove his worth and silence his critics and yet Louis van Gaal is having none of that as he thinks the now sluggish Robin van Persie and fledgling James Wilson are better gambles in what has been a surprisingly low scoring season for the Red Devils. Some may even say Falcao is just being used as the scapegoat since all the United forwards are struggling to get the ball anywhere near the back of the opposition net.
