Sercombe over hip problem

Exeter look set to be boosted by the return of Liam Sercombe when they host table-topping Luton.

The Grecians midfielder has missed their last two matches having suffered a hip-flexor strain against Southend but he looks set to boost Paul Tisdale's options as they look to continue their fine run which has seen them take six wins from their last eight.

But Tisdale may be tempted to stick with the same XI that won 2-0 at Morecambe on Sunday despite an eye-catching display from substitute Tom Nichols, who stepped off the bench to net the game's second goal.

Tisdale does, however, remain without Jamie Reid, Pat Baldwin and Jordan Moore-Taylor.

Luton boss John Still has no fresh injury worries as his squad continues to edge nearer to full fitness.

Only striker Ross Lafayette, who is recovering from a hernia operation, is definitely unavailable on Saturday.

Still is unsure whether Pelly Ruddock, Alex Lawless or Charlie Walker would be ready in time and he is keeping an eye on the fitness of the trio.

"There has been no decision made on Pelly or Lawless," Still told local reporters on Thursday. "Definitely next week but whether it's this week I'm not sure yet. By and large everyone else is okay and getting fitter."
