Manchester United play Liverpool on Sunday and with United 3/4 to win the match we thought it was an ideal time to catch up with 888sport #LastWord ambassador and Premier League legend Louis Saha for his thoughts on this special fixture.

888sport is putting betting at the heart of football debate by asking punters to have the #LastWord over their mates by backing their banter with a bet.

What are your thoughts and predictions for the latest instalment of this special fixture?

Yes I think there is a momentum going for Manchester. There was a feeling like the confidence was coming back in the last games of the players. I don’t think that I am wrong right now. If you are on top form you are going to win that game but it is so special that you can’t predict it. Manchester United do look like the team able to win that game.

Will the Champions League exit be a factor for Liverpool?

Going out of the Champions League will be a confidence factor. Liverpool are not playing that good and are looking for a strike force. Sturridge is out, Balotelli is not playing well and the situation over the next few weeks must be very worrying for Liverpool and it’s the opposite for Manchester. Confidence is always a factor going into big games but a game is a game and it is not just a case of mathematics.

Van Persie, Rooney and Di Maria are playing better, the team overall is playing better, Fellaini is finding his place in the midfield. As a Manchester United fan that’s how I like to see the team playing.

Do you think Rodgers will be in trouble if Liverpool loses this game?

Not wishing any bad luck to Rodgers, he has done a really terrific job there. I think now he can realise the Suarez factor was huge. He was the difference between a very good Liverpool and a struggling Liverpool and he is very hard to replace.
