McManus earns Clyde the points

Scott McManus scored 10 minutes from time to earn Clyde a 2-1 win at East Stirling, who slip to the bottom of the table.

McManus' first goal since October moved the visitors up to sixth with their first win in 2015 coming at the fourth attempt.

Both sides hit the frame of the goal in a scoreless first half, Scott Ferguson and David McKenna the players to be denied.

Stephen O'Donnell opened the scoring eight minutes into the second half, rifling into the roof of the net from close range.

The lead lasted eight minutes as Neil McCabe bundled in from David Greenhill's free-kick.

Greenhill then rocked the crossbar for the hosts but McManus fired past Richard Barnard at the other end to settle the contest.

East Stirling have now lost six of their last seven and sit last in the Scottish Football League.
