Moyes banned for Fifers

East Fife defender Ewan Moyes is suspended for the visit of Annan Athletic.

Moyes was dismissed in the 1-0 defeat from Clyde last weekend.

Player-manager Gary Naysmith remains out with a knee injury while ankle problems keep Scott Smith and Alan Cook away from the action.

Kevin Smith is also a doubt, with Naysmith saying: "We are low on numbers, however I am expecting the players to go out and do better than the Clyde game.

"That was a disappointment and if we want to be a side that is challenging for promotion then we need to be winning our home games starting against Annan."

The Galabank men add Kieran Brannan, Steven Swinglehurst and Scott Davidson to their squad after injury.

Stephen Sloan is also available after family commitments, however Matty Flynn (jaw), Kenny Mackay (knee) and Derek Carcary (hamstring) all remain out.

Manager Jim Chapman said: "East Fife were on a fine run until last weekend's defeat from Clyde so they will be wanting to hit back quickly but hopefully we can keep them waiting.

"Our squad is still not full available to me but we have more bodies that we have had recently. We also have the confidence of a good run behind us so we will be looking to go to Bayview and win."
