East Fife drop to second after held to draw by struggling Stirling

East Fife dropped to second in the Ladbrokes League Two table after being held to a 1-1 home draw by strugglers Stirling.

Nathan Austin gave the home side the lead just after the half hour when he lobbed in the opening goal.

Stirling were level half an hour later as Willie Robertson fired right-footed into the bottom left corner of the goal.

East Fife pushed for a winning goal but had to settle a point which saw them surrender top spot to Annan, who were 2-0 winners at Arbroath.
