Dunfermline V Peterhead: Match Review

29 September 2014 09:59

Dunfermline v Peterhead in the Scottish League One may not be the first game which appeals to you when deciding which game to go to on a Saturday ,but the 2409 who were at East End Park were certainly not left short of entertainment on Saturday afternoon.

Dunfermline won the game 3-0 with three second half goals from Josh Falkingham, Gozie Uwgu and James Thomas but that does not even begin to tell the story.

Before the half time whistle blew Peterhead had no fewer than 3 men sent off for straight red cards and 1 booked, Jamie Redman saw red for a poor tackle then Steven Noble and Jordon Brown both followed him for a early bath for there parts in a mass brawl.

Peterhead managed go in at half time without conceding ,but then followed more drama as reports say the Peterhead manager Jim Mclnally was involved in a incident with the ref. Some reports were saying Mcnally had been arrested for the incident with the ref but these have yet to be proven and numerous sources say is not true.

So Peterhead came out for the second half in the classic 4-3 formation hoping to somehow keep 'The Pars' out but they unsurprisingly did not succeed and managed to pick up 2 more yellow cards to add to collection.

So in the end up 6 of Peterheads men saw a card in miserable day for 'The Blue Toon' ad they left the management team with some selections issues for the coming matches.
