Manchester United and Spain international goalkeeper, David De Gea, has been named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November. The awards, powered by the football platform 90min, comes following David De Gea’s great form for Manchester United during the month of November in which he kept two clean sheets to help Manchester United retain their place in the top four in the Premier League table.

De Gea kept a clean sheet at the start of the month as Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Old Trafford and then De Gea put in a man of the match performance to help the Red Devils overcome Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium, making a string of fine saves to keep Arsenal at bay. On Saturday De Gea helped Manchester United beat Hull 3-0, keeping another clean sheet and making some important saves to preserve the United goal.

Manchester United are currently 4th in the Premier League table having won three of their four games in November. Manchester United entertain Stoke at Old Trafford on Tuesday night before travelling to Southampton next weekend.

The PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.

United Goalkeeper David De Gea beat off competition from Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez to win the award. Nathaniel Clyne of Southampton and Moussa Sissoko of Newcastle were also shortlisted. One lucky fan voter will be chosen to present David De Gea with the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award in person later this month.
