Jon Guthrie set to feature for Crewe against Wycombe

Crewe defender Jon Guthrie is expected to be fit to face Wycombe.

The 24-year-old was withdrawn with a knock late on against Grimsby on Saturday but his substitution, with the team 4-0 ahead, was merely precautionary, according to Alex boss Dave Artell.

Guthrie's availability will see Artell choose from the same 18-man squad and it could even be an unchanged starting line-up on Tuesday night.

Billy Bingham has another full week of training under his belt while Callum Saunders and Tommy Lowery are also set for a return to training this week, but none of the trio will be ready to feature.

Wanderers will be without Myles Weston at Gresty Road.

The 28-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute in their 3-0 defeat to Stevenage on Saturday, but was taken off again just six minutes later due to a hamstring injury.

Matt Bloomfield (groin) and Paris Cowan-Hall (hamstring) remain unavailable due to injury.

Joe Jacobson is one caution away from a suspension.
