Everton offered 75 million euros (£66m) for Diego Costa in the final days of the summer transfer window, according to Spanish newspaper Marca. But Costa only wanted a move to Atletico Madrid, the paper reports, and refused to listen to any offer that was not from his former club.

Arsenal are interested in Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi – but face competition from Nice, Bordeaux and Red Bull Leipzig, according to the Sun. The paper reports that the Gunners have their eye on the 19-year-old, seen as an up-and-coming star in the French youth football.

Manchester United are preparing to start new talks with David De Gea over a new contract, the Independent reports. The club is reportedly confident the 26-year-old Spanish goalkeeper will agree to extend his contract, which runs out in 2019, despite interest from Real Madrid.

Manchester City are looking to extend the contract of Raheem Sterling amid interest from Arsenal, according to the Daily Star. The England winger still has another three years left on his current deal, but City are reportedly keen to demonstrate their faith in the 22-year-old by looking at a contract extension.

Leon Goretzka: The 22-year-old Schalke midfielder is on the wishlists of several of Europe’s biggest clubs – including Arsenal, according to the Mirror. The paper reports that one of Arsene Wenger’s top scouts has been keeping an eye on the German player for the past few months.

Francesco Vicari: West Ham are reportedly contemplating a January move for the 23-year-old defender, reports Italian news site Calciomercato. The Hammers have reportedly been monitoring the SPAL player, with representatives from the club attending SPAL’s away clash against AC Milan to monitor his performance.
