Clyde edge out Annan

Clyde recorded back-to-back Scottish League Two victories after edging out Annan 1-0 at the Broadwood Stadium.

The visitors created the first chance of the match when midfielder Rabin Omar's header was tipped over the crossbar by goalkeeper Alan Martin.

At the other end a scramble in the Annan box ended with keeper Jordan Hart pushing Brian McQueen's looping header onto the woodwork.

Clyde took the lead on the stroke of half-time when Mark Roberts broke free in the box to head in Paul Slane's cross.

Striker Keigan Parker almost added a second but his shot smashed against the crossbar before team-mate Scott Durie hit a post a minute later.

Annan's Andrew Mitchell blasted over a free-kick late on as the visitors slumped to a disappointing defeat.
