Arthur blow for Robins

Cheltenham will be without Koby Arthur when they host Southend.

The winger made his first League Two start for the Robins against Luton on Saturday, only to be recalled by parent club Birmingham after scoring four goals in eight appearances for Mark Yates' high-flyers.

Arthur's return opens the door for Byron Harrison. Last season's top scorer was left out for Arthur against the Hatters but looks set to earn a recall to face Phil Brown's men.

Yates has called on his side to make a stronger start to the match having seen them suffer a rare defeat on Saturday.

Southend will be looking to build on their first win in six matches when they visit Whaddon Road.

The Shrimpers beat Portsmouth 2-0 on Saturday as striker Barry Corr got off the mark and he could continue to lead the line as Brown is likely to stick with an unchanged side.

Debutant Jerome Binnom-Williams, who joined on loan from Crystal Palace, impressed, as did Gary Deegan and substitute Shaq Coulthirst, who scored Southend's second goal.

Ben Coker and Michael Timlin are definite absentees for the clash with long-term elbow injuries.
