Trio missing for Cheltenham

Cheltenham will be without three key players for their vital home game with Plymouth.

The Robins sit just one point above rock-bottom Hartlepool after last weekend's defeat to Exeter and they will have to manage without star man Wes Burns after he was not only called up by Wales Under-21 for their clash with Bulgaria next Tuesday but also put on standby for the senior squad this weekend.

Centre-backs Troy Brown and Will Packwood also miss out. Brown serves the final match of his two-game suspension for 10 yellow cards while Packwood has been named in the USA's Under-23 squad.

Striker Mathieu Manset, who missed the Exeter loss after being struck in traffic, could also be handed a start upfront while Derby loanee Shaquille McDonald will be in the squad following his arrival on Thursday.

Plymouth are likely to include new signing Zak Ansah in their squad.

The Charlton loanee arrived at Home Park on Thursday and is available to make his Pilgrims bow at Whaddon Road but fellow new recruit Gethin Jones is not.

Jones, borrowed from Everton, cannot feature until next week as the 19-year-old right-back is with Wales' Under-21 side for their clash with Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, defender Peter Hartley is set to play through the niggling pain of a knee injury and his previous hip problem this weekend.
