Radamel Falcao's anticipated move to Chelsea now looks all but certain with reports that the Colombian striker signed a contract with Jose Mourinho's side on Monday.

Colombian television show 'Gol Caracol' suggest the Blues are looking to unveil Falcao on July 19 or 20 in Canada, where the west London club will be training ahead of the 15/16 Premier League season.

The 29-year-old striker will be earning £130,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge, a year after signing for Manchester United on loan from AS Monaco.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes the out of sorts Falcao that flopped last season at the Red Devils still has a lot to offer the Premier League and has been keen on brining him to London.

"It really hurts me that people in England believe that Falcao is the guy they saw at Manchester United," Mourinho told DirecTV Sports.

"He's a player I know, one that I've followed since Atletico Madrid and if I can help Falcao arrive at his level I will do it."
