A report in Italian publication Tutto Mercato Web claims that Zlatan could be looking at pastures new in the summer with Edinson Cavani becoming the preferred striker at PSG and with Ibrahimovic entering the final 12 months of his present deal.

There has been talk that the striker has possible moves to MLS and Italy on the table but now the possibility of the player linking up with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea has emerged which could be appealing for the 33-year-old forward.

The striker joined PSG in 2012 and has scored an impressive 106 goals in all competitions and a move to Stamford Bridge would be his eighth club in a senior career which has included Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barca, Milan and PSG.

If a transfer was to happen Zlatan is already familiar with working for Jose Mourinho with the pair enjoying a successful time at Inter Milan between 2008-09. In his book tittled ‘I am Zlatan’, the striker speaks with great admiration and affection for the coach saying:

"I've never met a manager with that kind of knowledge about the opposing sides. We all sensed it immediately. this guy knows his stuff.

"I felt increasingly that this guy gives everything for the team, so I want to give everything for him.

"He formed an attachment to me even before we met. He would become a guy I was basically willing to die for."
