Charlton waiting on Ezri Konsa

Charlton will check on Ezri Konsa ahead of the visit of Oxford.

The teenage defender hobbled off injured just 30 minutes into Saturday's 3-3 draw at Rochdale.

Konsa was replaced by Jorge Teixeira, who pushed his claims for a start by scoring twice including a last-gasp equaliser.

Nathan Byrne is back from a ban but Harry Lennon, Roger Johnson and Jason Pearce remain sidelined.

Oxford must dust themselves down as they return to league action following their dramatic 3-2 FA Cup defeat at Middlesbrough.

Left-back Joe Skarz could come back into the starting line-up having missed last week's defeat by Southend through illness and then been on the bench at the Riverside.

Christian Ribeiro and Sam Long are fit so Wes Thomas and Aaron Martin (both Achilles) are the only injury absentees.

Back-up goalkeeper Jack Stevens returns to the bench after he was cup-tied on Saturday.
