Cardiff v Stoke: Preview - Kenwyne Jones will be out for revenge against his former club

Stoke City are now mathematically safe and are just a win and a draw away from equalling their highest ever points tally in The Premier League. Cardiff host The Potters tomorrow hoping for the three points that will take them level on points with Norwich in 17th.

Cardiff's win at Southampton last weekend will have had the Bluebirds hoping for a miracle tomorrow as they have just four games to fight their way out of the relegation zone. Stoke on the other had have won five of their last seven games and don't look to be taking their foot off the accelerator as they surge towards that top ten finish.

Stoke will have former Cardiff winger Peter Odemwingie available whilst Kenwyne Jones has been battling with fitness all week in order to face his former club. The Potters will be without Matthew Etherington through a back injury but will be boosted by the news that on-lon Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi could be available.

Cardiff will be without influential midfielder Craig Noone who is out with an abdominal strain but could be boosted if Jones passes his late fitness test.
