Can Wenger beat the Blues?

Chelsea visit Arsenal this weekend looking to close in on the Premier League trophy and end the Gunners' title chances. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is bidding to beat Jose Mourinho for the first time in 13 attempts.

Arsene Wenger versus Jose Mourinho has been one of the greatest managerial rivalries in the Premier League era, and has produced some exciting clashes between Arsenal and Chelsea and the two bosses over the years. The fact that Arsene Wenger has never defeated a Jose Mourinho team must hurt deeply for the Frenchman.

Chelsea v Arsenal: Mourinho v Wenger: P12, W7, D5, L0

Arsenal head into the match with a lot of momentum having won 17 of 19 games in all competitions, the recent victory over Reading in the FA Cup semi-final making it nine wins in a row. They are currently the Premier League's most in-form side, enjoying an eight-game winning streak. The Gunners have been much improved in the second half of the season winning more points in 2015 than any other Premier League side (33).

Chelsea are sitting comfortably at the top of the table with a 10-point margin over second-placed Arsenal. Mourinho will take his team into the game with a no-lose mentality, one which has served them well against the big clubs this season. It is hard to see Chelsea blowing their advantage now, they can play knowing the pressure is all on their opponents to win the game, whereas for them a point will do.

Chelsea can clinch the Premier League title with wins in their next two fixtures. If the Blues beat Arsenal and then Leicester City three days later, they will be crowned champions.

Wenger will be hoping that he can beat the Blues and finally end the Mourinho hoodoo by bagging his first three points over his old adversary at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Will it be lucky 13.?
