Bury V Northampton at Gigg Lane : Match Preview

21 April 2017 11:34

Same again for Bury boss Lee Clark

Bury boss Lee Clark is expected to choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against Northampton.

Clark has no new injury or suspension worries and could name the same XI which started Tuesday's goalless draw at Bolton.

Centre-back Nathan Cameron is still pushing for his first appearance since mid-August after recovering from knee surgery.

Craig Jones (calf), Andrew Tutte (hamstring), Zeli Ismail (hamstring) and Danny Mayor (hip) all remain long-term absentees as the Shakers continue their fight to avoid relegation.

Northampton will be without suspended duo David Buchanan and John-Joe O'Toole for the trip to Gigg Lane.

Defender Buchanan and midfielder O'Toole serve one-match bans after both were sent off for two bookable offences in Monday's draw with Shrewsbury.

Cobblers striker Michael Smith should be fit to return after missing out against the Shrews due to a leg injury.

Forward Luke Williams, who injured a hamstring on Good Friday, has returned to parent club Scunthorpe after being ruled out for the season, while fellow loanee Gregg Wylde has gone back to Millwall following groin surgery.
