Burton sweating on Lasse Vigen Christensen's fitness ahead of Ipswich game

Burton boss Nigel Clough will check on Lasse Vigen Christensen before finalising his plans for the visit of Ipswich.

The Dane, on loan from Fulham, has been a regular starter since arriving at the Pirelli Stadium in January but missed the draw with Aston Villa due to tight glutes.

Should Christensen remain out, Michael Kightly is likely to keep his place as part of a three-man central midfield, alongside Jackson Irvine and Luke Murphy.

Clough has th likes of John Mousinho, Lucas Akins, Damien McCrory, Tom Naylor, Will Miller and former Ipswich striker Luke Varney available for recalls.

Ipswich are set to have midfielder Cole Skuse back in contention.

Skuse has missed Town's last two matches as a precaution having suffered concussion in the 1-1 home draw with Birmingham.

On-loan Leicester forward Tom Lawrence is expected to be back in the starting line-up having made a return from a groin injury as a substitute in last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Fulham.

Danish defender Jonas Knudsen (shoulder), centre-half Steven Taylor (hamstring) is also out, along with Adam Webster and midfielder Luke Hyam, who are both recovering from ankle problems.
