Joe Partington set for home bow as Bristol Rovers take on Bradford

Defender Joe Partington is in line for a Bristol Rovers home debut against Bradford in Sky Bet League One.

Partington - who was signed from Eastleigh last month - made his first start at Rochdale last weekend as Rovers ended a run of seven successive away defeats with a goalless draw.

Luke James is likely to get another chance to stake his claim to become the recently-sold Matty Taylor's successor in the Pirates' attack.

Cristian Montano impressed in a 4-0 reserve-team victory over Peterborough in midweek, but the Colombian winger could remain on the bench.

Bradford defender Nathaniel Percival-Knight is hoping to return to contention after an ankle injury.

Centre-half Percival-Knight, a regular starter since arriving from Shrewsbury in the summer, returned to full training this week after missing the last three matches and could be available.

Striker Alex Jones is still out with a hip injury - he does not require surgery and hopes to return to training in two weeks - and defender Matt Kilgallon (shoulder) remains sidelined.

On-loan defender Kevin Toner is in contention to make his first appearance as the Bantams bid to consolidate their place in the top six.
