Brentford boss Dean Smith set to ring the changes

Brentford boss Dean Smith plans to freshen up his side for the visit of struggling Wolves.

Smith admitted some of his players were showing signs of fatigue during Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Huddersfield.

Nico Yennaris has been playing on despite a calf injury so he could drop out along with Jota and Lasse Vibe.

Philipp Hofmann is fit after a back injury and Tom Field has overcome a knee problem but Josh McEachran (ankle) and Andreas Bjelland (hamstring) are still struggling.

Wolves will probably travel with an unchanged squad after defeating Rotherham 1-0 on Saturday.

Ivan Cavaleiro made his return from injury as a late substitute against the Millers, having previously been an unused sub in the goalless draw at Ipswich.

After a first win in seven Sky Bet Championship games, Wolves boss Paul Lambert may not make many changes to his team but he does have options should he wish to tweak things.

Matt Doherty, Danny Batth, Nouha Dicko and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson will all be hoping for recalls at Griffin Park.
