Maxime Colin and Sergi Canos both doubtful for Brentford clash with Leeds

Maxime Colin and Sergi Canos could miss out for Brentford when they host Leeds.

French defender Colin and Spanish midfielder Canos both hobbled out of Saturday's 2-0 win over Bristol City with calf strains.

Alan Judge is back in training after recovering from a broken leg but will not be ready yet, and fellow midfielder Josh McEachran is still out with an ankle injury.

Boss Dean Smith admits he may freshen up his side so John Egan, Josh Clarke and Florian Jozefzoon could be recalled to the starting line-up.

Leeds boss Garry Monk will assess the fitness of centre-half Pontus Jansson, who missed the weekend defeat at Reading due to a hamstring injury.

Liam Cooper is likely to resume alongside Kyle Bartley in central defence, while Monk's options will be boosted by the return to contention of right-back Luke Ayling, who has served a two-match ban.

Chris Wood is hoping to resume up front after shaking off a knock sustained on international duty in time to start at Reading.

Kalvin Phillips, Kemar Roofe, Souleymane Doukara, Eunan O'Kane and Stuart Dallas are all pushing for recalls as Leeds bid to bounce back from their first defeat in eight matches.
