Bidwell could boost Bees

Jake Bidwell could return to Brentford's starting line-up for the visit of Huddersfield.

The defender completed a three-match suspension prior to Saturday's trip to Birmingham, but he started on the bench with manager Mark Warburton sticking with winger Stuart Dallas at left-back as the Bees slipped to a 1-0 defeat.

Fit-again Alan McCormack (ankle) and Alan Judge (knee) are also pushing for starts after coming on as substitutes at St Andrew's.

January signing Lewis Macleod is still awaiting his debut having been carrying a hamstring injury and striker Scott Hogan remains sidelined with cruciate ligament damage.

Huddersfield striker Nahki Wells is rated 50/50 to return to contention due to a shoulder injury.

Wells missed the weekend defeat at Charlton with the problem he sustained in last week's home win against Reading and was replaced by James Vaughan in the starting line-up.

Boss Chris Powell has no new injury or suspension problems, but defender Joel Lynch (groin) remains sidelined despite returning to full training this week.

Midfield pair Oscar Gobern and Conor Coady are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
