Forshaw could return for Bees

Brentford boss Mark Warburton must decide whether to bring Adam Forshaw back into the fold against Birmingham.

Midfielder Forshaw is fit after an ankle operation and subsequent hamstring niggle but recently became unsettled by interest from Championship rivals Wigan.

Full-back Nico Yennaris will be handed a fitness test after missing the last two games with a back injury.

Summer signing Scott Hogan is not ready to make his debut due to an ankle problem, fellow striker Andre Gray is struggling to shake off a knock and winger Sam Saunders remains sidelined by a knee injury.

Birmingham could be unchanged as they look to extend their unbeaten run to four games.

Lee Clark's side were denied a third straight win in all competitions by Ipswich's late equaliser in their 2-2 draw at St Andrew's on Tuesday.

Matt Green and Gavin Gunning (both knee) are the only long-term absentees but Clayton Donaldson will face his former side for the first time since he left the Bees in the summer.

The striker scored 53 goals in 155 games and helped Warburton's side to promotion from Sky Bet League One last season.
