Bradford striker Charlie Wyke hoping to shake off ankle injury to face Oxford

Bradford striker Charlie Wyke is expected to shake off an ankle injury sustained in last week's win at Bury in time to be in contention.

Boss Stuart McCall has no new injury problems, while fit-again midfielder Nicky Law (knee) is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after starting on the bench in Bradford's last two matches.

Striker Jordy Hiwula and midfielder Timothee Dieng are also in contention to start after impressing as second-half substitutes at Bury.

Winger Alex Gilliead (hamstring) and centre-half Matthew Kilgallon (shoulder) remain sidelined, but are making good progress and could be involved if the Bantams reach the play-offs.

Oxford boss Michael Appleton has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Valley Parade.

Having played 17 games in the space of eight weeks, Appleton has rotated his side throughout. Chey Dunkley, who featured in 16 of those games, Josh Ruffels, and Liam Sercombe were replaced with Joe Skarz, Charlie Raglan and Ryan Ledson for their 1-1 draw at Walsall and could return.

Teenage full-back Canice Carroll is set to keep his place at right-back after impressing in his last two senior starts.

Strikers Kane Hemmings and Toni Martinez are pushing for a start.
