Jay Spearing set to boost Bolton as they aim to seal promotion

Bolton are expected to have Jay Spearing available to face Peterborough as they look to secure their return to the Championship.

Wanderers will start the final day of the season two points above Fleetwood, who face Port Vale at Highbury, and Spearing should be in their ranks despite a back injury.

Skipper Darren Pratley (hamstring) is boss Phil Parkinson's other big concern after he missed out against Vale.

Mark Davies (knee) is a long-term absentee for Bolton, who will be looking to secure an instant return to the second tier.

Peterborough appear likely to stick with the side which beat Bristol Rovers 4-2.

Posh have no fresh injuries ahead of the trip to Wanderers.

Jack Baldwin returned in the win over Rovers, adding some experience alongside young left-back Lewis Freestone and midfielders Callum Chettle and Leonardo Da Silva Lopes, who scored twice last time out.

Long-term injury victims Jermaine Anderson and Gwion Edwards (both knee) are the only definite absentees.
