David Davis available for Birmingham's clash with Derby

Birmingham midfielder David Davis will be available for their Sky Bet Championship clash with Derby on Saturday.

The former Wolves man sustained a toe injury against Ipswich last weekend and was named on the bench for Tuesday's 3-1 defeat at Brighton.

Maikel Kieftenbeld came on for the last 20 minutes in midweek and could start against the Rams, managed by former Blues boss Gary Rowett.

City are currently 18th and without a win in their last six games.

Derby's midweek hat-trick hero David Nugent is expected to be fit.

The striker picked up a dead leg after scoring three times in Tuesday's 4-2 victory over Fulham and was substituted as a precaution.

Aside from Nugent, Rowett appears to have no new selection concerns as his side look to boost their outside chance of a play-off place.

Midfielder Jacob Butterfield is pushing for a starting spot at St Andrew's after replacing forward Matej Vydra at half-time in the win over the Cottagers, while Will Hughes, Ikechi Anya and Darren Bent are also hoping for recalls.
