Barnsley could make changes for the visit of Brentford

Barnsley manager Paul Heckingbottom could be tempted to ring the changes after seeing his side throw away a 2-0 lead in Thursday's 3-2 loss at Wigan.

Heckingbottom described the defeat as a "reality check" after Nick Powell's 12-minute hat-trick turned the game on its head.

However, he will not be able to call on Adam Hammill and Andy Yiadom, who could both be out for the rest of the season.

Winger Hammill sustained a toe injury in the goalless home draw against Cardiff and defender Yiadom has had shoulder surgery.

Free-scoring Brentford will hope to have Andreas Bjelland in their back-line at Oakwell.

While the Bees are busy closing out their campaign at a canter - they have scored 14 goals in their last five games, including four against Derby - Dean Smith would appreciate the services of defender Bjelland, who has overcome the injury which has kept him sidelined since early March.

Josh McEachran's participation in South Yorkshire is uncertain as the former Chelsea midfielder did not make the squad for the Derby game despite recovering from his long-term ankle problem.

Florian Jozefzoon continues to make a positive impact as a substitute and the Dutchman will hope to play a more prominent role for mid-table Brentford over the run-in.
