Ashley Williams on Everton's radar

Everton could make a move for Swansea's Ashley Williams if the Goodison Park club is forced to sell John Stones to Chelsea.

Everton have already turned down two bids from Chelsea for their young defender.

Although Roberto Martinez has insisted that the 21-year-old won't leave this summer, he could leave for the champions Chelsea if an offer of more than £30million comes in.

Reports are now suggesting that Toffees boss could sign his former club skipper Ashley Williams to be a replacement for Stones if he leaves.

Roberto Martinez took Williams to Liberty stadium in 2008 when he was in charge of Swansea for a fee reported to be around £400,000.

The Welsh international still has three years in his contract after renewing his contract last month, it remains unlikely he will leave the Welsh club as Swans boss Garry Monk has insisted the player is happy and is not for sale.

Meanwhile, Swansea City have signed striker Botti Biabi from Falkirk for an undisclosed fee.

The Swans announced on their official website the signing of the 19-year-old for a three year deal.

Biabi, who helped Falkirk reach the Scottish Cup Final last year made 32 appearances for Falkirk last season.
