Arsenal's Mesut Ozil linked to Bayern Munich for 30million

Mesut Ozil's torrid time at Arsenal could come to an end in January, according to the Daily Mail.

Bayern Munich are said to be lining up a £30million bid for the attacking midfielder, who joined the Gunners for a club-record £42.5million last summer.

Ozil has come under scrutiny for his performances in North London this season, only contributing one goal and one assist in the Premier League this season. The club record signing has failed to live up to his price tag and to find his form when he played for Real Madrid.

The German star is reported to be becoming increasingly unhappy at the club and an escape to his native land could prove likely. Ozil has become unhappy because he is constantly being played out of position.

He is currently sidelined for up to three months with a knee injury which he sustained prior to going on international duty last week.

Ozil leaving the club could open the door for Sami Khedira to finally complete his move to the Emirates. Although Wenger is a huge fan of the World Cup winner, he is likely to wait until he recovers from his injury before making a decision on the 25-year-old.
