Arsenal held by Birmingham

Dominique Janssen was denied a last-gasp winner by the crossbar as Arsenal had to settle for a goalless FA Women's Super League draw with Birmingham.

Janssen's injury-time free-kick beat keeper Sophie Baggaley, but came back of the woodwork as Birmingham managed to cling on to a deserved point after a battling display at Boreham Wood.

Freda Ayisi and Remi Allen had gone close for the visitors either side of half-time, but a game of few clear-cut chances ended in stalemate to leave the Gunners five points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
