Arsenal fans to protest with last-minute game-changer transfer rumours gaining pace

An interesting stat has emerged that Arsenal account for just 2% of the Premier League transfer spend this window and it’s this inactivity that seems to have riled the fans to protest today.

Perhaps it is wishful thinking to suggest that the reason that Wenger was spotted heading over to Paris was to seal some big deals with fellow Champions League competitor PSG with Cavani noted as the prime target. Another interesting name mentioned with the Paris visit is a certain mercurial talent Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

With the window closed in France it seems that any transfer will depend on if PSG are willing to let a player go that they cannot replace with another until January or later. Reports suggest that the player that PSG would be willing to let go would be Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the Metro suggesting that PSG were ‘open’ to the idea.

The Swedish forward has been prolific at PSG despite his age but the Premier League, whilst possible seems a less likely destination for the star than the USA for example.

The 33-year-old Swedish superstar has made 91 league appearances for the Ligue 1 side, scoring an incredible 75 goals.
