Johnstone worry for Arbroath

League Two leaders Arbroath have a doubt over Craig Johnstone as they look for win number seven of the season when East Stirling visit.

Dylan Carreiro will not be considered after international duty this week in Canada, with Jack Smith remaining unavailable due to a long-term elbow injury.

Assistant manager Todd Lumsden said: "East Stirling had a couple of good results before losing to Queen's Park last week and that is a warning to us.

"When we lost to East Fife in the league at home we never started the game well enough and hopefully that will not be repeated in this game as we want to keep on winning."

East Stirling add defender Michael Bolochoweckyj to their squad after illness, however Chris Townsley (ankle) and Paul McMullan (foot) remain out.

Recent signing Lerou Tahin is still not able to feature in league matches due to a registration issue, with head coach Craig Tully demanding that his men start this game well.

Tully explained: "Last week against Queen's Park our first-half performance was really poor and we gave ourselves a mountain to climb by going two goals down.

"We got back into things before losing a late goal and losing 3-1.

"If we start badly against Arbroath then the very same thing could happen."
