Rigg return boosts Dons

Sean Rigg returns to the AFC Wimbledon squad for the visit of Cambridge.

The winger missed last weekend's goalless draw against his former club Oxford through suspension after collecting five yellow cards this season.

Boss Neal Ardley has also drafted in Millwall youngster Jake Goodman on loan to bolster his options at the back.

Ardley signed the defender after Adam Barrett and Alan Bennett missed training earlier in the week with knocks while Andy Frampton in still out with an ankle injury.

Cambridge will run the rule over Robbie Simpson ahead of the trip to London.

U's boss Richard Money confirmed that the former Oldham and Coventry striker had picked up a knock and will need assessing before making a decision on his availability.

Italian defender Matteo Lanzoni, who has made just three appearances this season, will be unavailable after agreeing a month-long loan deal with Hartlepool.

Harrison Dunk (hernia), Ryan Donaldson and Tom Elliott (both knee) all remain sidelined for the U's.
