A brief look at Mourinho's Chelsea reinforcements

According to my evaluation notes, Mourinho’s team should be challenging not only for the Premier League Trophy, but also for the Champions League, altogether.

Diego Costa’s brilliant season at Atletico is mainly explainable by his great receiving, holding and running with the ball between the opposition’s defenders, abilities that makes him so useful for the counter attacking game that Mourinho likes, and that commonly successes at direct elimination games, such as the Champions League.

On the other hand, Fabregas’ great through passes are an ideal complement for braking defences when playing possession football, something very common to see in the Premier, especially when playing home games against minor teams.

Filipe Luis’s good punctuation in all defensive plays, plus his enough quality to go up front, pass the ball accurately, run forward and send crosses, make him a complete player that will certainly be better that fielding seemingly uncomfortable Azpilicueta on that side.

Courtois has proven to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world, his great ubication under the posts and perfect criteria for cutting oppositions crosses, make him a very reliable keeper that should look to take Peter Cech’s charge at the first team. Other teams should pay attention to this because one of them will probably be looking for another club next year, and I bet that will be the Czech one.

Mou seems to have incorporated brilliant and diversified stuff to challenge for all kind of trophies this season, no excuses this time Mou.
