Sir Bradley Wiggins wants to attempt the hour record in Mallorca.
According to the Diario de Mallorca newspaper, Wiggins, who is moving back towards track racing in preparation for the 2016 Rio Olympics has had talks about staging an attempt at the hour record which was set by Matthias Brandle of IAM Cycling last Thursday, at the El Palma Arena in Mallorca.
The event could take place in July and August and Wiggins is hoping that thousands of fans would go to the Spanish island of Mallorca on holiday and take in his attempt, according to Tomeu Llompart who was speaking to the Diario de Mallorca.
