Juan Jose Lobato of Movistar has won the Dubai Tour Third Stage.

A 172km stage from Dubai International Marine Club to Hatta Dam saw Feng, Mancebo, Andy Tennant, Mccormick, Lozano Riba & Abelouache form the main break of the day on a stage where the pace was slow.

The break never got to far away with McCormick taking both sprints and was down to five riders when Andy Tennant of Team Wiggins was dropped with 18.3kms to go.

The gap dropped below to a minute and with 15 kilometres left, Feng dropped off the break which fractured on the climb up to Hatta Dam, which has ramps of up to 19%

The final man in the break - Mancebo was caught with 11.8kms to go by Astana's Lieuwe Westra.

Mark Cavendish suffered a mechanical and needed a new bike whilst up the front, Westra was joined by Ben Swift of Team Sky and De Vresse of Astana.

They stayed away until the 4km to go mark and British rider Alex Dowsett of Movistar took a big turn on the front.

BMC took riders to the front and up the hill came JJ Lobato to win in  4.13.23 after beating set up by Dowsett.

Nizzolo was second ahead of Dillier, Cancellera, Gilbert and Kittel with Mark Cavendish's group coming in 5.11 down.

Trek Segafredo's Giacomo Nizzolo leads the race by a two second margin over Lobato going into the final stage.
