We are a region with excellent natural and landscape conditions, with cycling routes and with great hotel, culture, heritage and gastronomy. The live broadcast will allow to leverage the international notoriety of the most important tourist destination of the country. “

“The ATA, responsible for the international promotion of the Algarve, welcomes the dissemination of the region by Eurosport throughout Europe, as it allows us to reach our main markets. Showing the destination at this time of year through the Volta ao Algarve is an excellent promotional opportunity for the region”, says ATA (Algarve Tourism Association) President, Carlos Luís.

The president of the Portuguese Cycling Federation, Delmino Pereira, emphasizes the cooperation between the various stakeholders. “I would like to highlight the excellent cooperation established between the Federation and the entities that made television direct possible. The increase in mediatism of the Volta ao Algarve gives cycling a new peak of public attention, which brings benefits to the participating teams and riders, Portuguese and foreigners. On the other hand, it is the affirmation of cycling as a privileged means for the promotion of tourism”, says Delmino Pereira.
