ITV4 To Show Tour De Yorkshire Live

ITV4 have announced that they will show the first ever Tour De Yorkshire race live.

The race, organised by Tour De France organisers ASO, and one that is expected to attract some of the world tour teams, is over three days and starts in Bridlington on Friday May 1st.

The opening stage is over 174kms and takes the riders through North York Moors, the Dalby Forest, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay before reaching the finish-line in Scarborough.

Saturday's stage two is also 174kms long and starts at Selby Abbey, taking in Beverley and the Wolds before finishing with a lap around the historic city of York.

The final stage on Sunday May 3rd is 167kms long and from Wakefield to Leeds with a finish line Roundhay Park.

ITV4 will have commentary and news from Gary Imlach, Ned Boulting as well as former professionals David Millar and Chris Boardman.
