Great Britain's Andrew Tennant won silver in the men's individual pursuit at the Track World Cup in Cali, Colombia.
Tennant, who registered a personal best in qualifying, finished an agonising 2.026 seconds behind Germany's Domenic Weinstein in the gold medal race after posting a time of 4:22.095, with Russia's Dmitry Sokolov picking up bronze.
He said: "The qualifier was a lot better than that (the final). I can naturally spin a bike at cadence for the team pursuit, we should have probably stuck with that, I would have probably been closer. Whether I would have won or not I don't know.
"It's my first world cup medal in an IP so it's nice."
