Cavendish To Compete In British Championships

Etixx Quick Step's Mark Cavendish will ride in the 2015 British Cycling Championships.

The 2015 Championships will be held in Lincolnshire with the Elite Mens Road Road for which Cavendish who was the British Champion when the race was in Glasgow in 2013, taking place on Sunday June 28th.

Cavendish confirmed that he will be competing in the 198km Mens Road Race at the Tour Of Turkey where he picked up the Green Jersey and three stage victories.

The women's time trial, which will start at the same venue as the mens at Yarborough Leisure Centre, Riseholme Road in Lincoln, will be over 101kms.

The time trial which could be a battle between World Hour Record holder Alex Dowsett and World Time Trial Champion Sir Bradley Wiggins will take place on Thursday June 25th at the Cadwell Park Motor Racing Circuit.
