Manuel Belletti of the Southeast team has won the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.
Stage 1A of this 2.1 category race in Italy which attracted a Team Sky side that included Ben Swift and Phillip Deignan as well as British rider Steve Cummings, was a 99.5km stage that started and finished in Gatteo.
One attack got away and was 4.48 ahead but was brought back, leaving Zilioli to battle on his own ahead of a front group of 60-70 riders.
With sixteen kilometres left, the peloton which was now around a hundred strong was altogether.
Team Sky and CCC Sprandl led the peloton but the stage finished in a bunch sprint which was won by Manuel Belletti of Southeast, ahead of Grega Bole of CCC Sprandi, Patrick Clausen of Trefor Blue Water, Andersen and Ben Swift, followed by Avila, Francesco Gavazzi, Vigano, Colli and Ponzi.
