The Cycling Independent Reform Commission who have been investigating Lance Armstrong appear to be not recommending any reduction in the Texan's life ban.
Armstrong was hoping for a more sympathetic ear when he attended a three man panel hearing but the commission, who will hold a media briefing next week after submitting their report to the UCI on Friday, are not considering recommending to the United States Anti-Doping Agency that Armstrong's ban is reduced.
Armstrong said that his legal advisors had not put pressure on CRIC to not ask certain questions and told the BBC: "At this point in my life I’m not out to protect anybody. "I’m out to protect seven people and they all have the last name Armstrong."
The American had said that his life ban was too harsh considering that former team-mates were only given six month bans.
