West Indies to bowl in rain-delayed ODI

The West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl in the fifth and final one-day international against South Africa at SuperSport Park on Wednesday.

The match was reduced to 42 overs a side after rain delayed the start by two-and-a-half hours.

With South African captain AB de Villiers being rested, Hashim Amla skippered the side. Amla was rested from the fourth match, which the West Indies won by one wicket in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock was playing his first match of the series after making a faster-than-expected recovery from an ankle injury, while fast bowler Marchant de Lange came in for Morne Morkel.

Narsingh Deonarine replaced Leon Johnson in the West Indies team.

South Africa lead the series 3-1.
