Testing route to final facing holders Durham after Royal London One-Day Cup draw

Royal London One-Day Cup holders Durham face a difficult route back to Lord's after being handed another away tie in the semi-finals if they make it through the last-eight stage.

The defending champions' clash with Group B table-toppers Nottinghamshire was hampered by rain at Trent Bridge on Tuesday afternoon, but the pair now know that whoever wins that contest will face a trip to either Surrey or Kent, who meet on Thursday, in the semi-finals.

Surrey have already beaten Durham by 49 runs in the 2015 competition, thanks to a 98 from this year's leading run-scorer Steven Davies, while Kent inflicted the only defeat on Notts so far when England's Sam Billings plundered an unbeaten century.

The other last-four clash will see Essex or Yorkshire host Gloucestershire or Hampshire, with those quarter-finals taking place on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Hampshire are the only one of the eight teams remaining that could clinch a limited-overs domestic double having booked their spot at this Saturday's NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day.

The semi-finals will take place on September 6 and 7, with the final to be staged at Lord's on September 19.
